Laboratory tests are conducted to validate the following elements: tearing of eyelets and straps, gluing, toxicology, UV resistance, abrasion of the sole and upper components, accelerated aging.
These tests allow us to improve the quality of our products and prevent premature wear of our hiking shoes.

Comfort
Our nature hiking shoes have as a singular promise an exacerbated comfort for its user; we have thus put in this shoe different ingredients to take care of your feet like the EVA insole (soft thermoplastic) as well as a heel pad in this same material.
We have also made the insole removable for more hygiene (possibility of washing it).

Grippy soles on footpaths
The design of the sole has been the subject of extensive research in our laboratories. We have favored a specific rubber formulation to optimize grip and adhesion. We systematically seek the best compromise for moving on soft or mineral footpaths (forest or coastal type).
Use on the road may accelerate the wear of your shoes and cause you discomfort. They are not suitable for hiking in high mountains.

Which pair of socks is suitable for Quechua NH100 MID shoes?
These shoes offer some breathability, but not enough to wick away all the moisture from your sweat. So we recommend Hike 50 Mid socks: they contain moisture-wicking cotton and have a terry construction that draws moisture away from your foot. They’re also high enough to protect your ankle from the shoe. This is a great combination for reducing the risk of blisters.
